Unable to send emails through Thunderbird. Thunderbird asks for password everytime. Entered password is fine, as I can login to WebMail with my current password. But Thunderbird doesnot accept the password and is unable to send emails!

"After a server reboot, Thunderbird will forget your password and will keep asking you to re-enter it, till it connects to the server or until you cancel, whichever comes first. Sometimes when a server comes back up after a connection failure, Thunderbird will never log in to the server no matter what you enter. If this occurs, delete the perfectly good saved password using "Tools -> Options -> Passwords -> View Saved Passwords -> Show Passwords". The next time Thunderbird prompts you for the password, enter it, and check the checkbox to save the password using the password manager. "

or

"Try unchecking "Use name and password" under Tools->Account Settings->Outgoing server (SMTP)->select that account in the list at top right of the dialog box->click on the "Edit" button."
