Using the webmail interface, you are able to send emails to any domain without any bounce backs. But when sending emails using a PC email client such as Outlook, you keep getting bounce back emails saying:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'user@domain.com' on 08-Jul-2008 5:57 PM
550 < user@domain.com > No such user here

Your problem is that you have your PC email client not configured correctly. Please do the following,

(1) Ensure the SMTP server is set to mail.domain.com (wherein domain.com should be your hosted domain on our servers)

(2) Your email's FROM address must be user@domain.com, you cannot set your FROM address to anything else other than your email login address. This is because the mail server is doing a security check on all emails sent through the server.

(3) If you're trying to send out email on the Smartermail server using Outlook 2003, please goto 'More settings' buttoon and click the 'Outgoing Server' Tab and make sure you have 'My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication' checked. That will fix the issue.
