Parked Domain, Domain Aliases and Domain forwarding essentially achieve the same objective - Pointing a domain name to existing content, of another domain name or temporary url.
Parked Domain: This term is commonly used by Linux cPanel systems. Parked domain involves doing a configuration on your Linux server, to enable a second domain name (say; domain2.com) to point to existing content of first domain name (say; domain1.com). Domain2.com name servers (DNS) to be same as that of domain1.com
Domain Aliases: This term is commonly used by Windows HELM systems. Domain alias involves doing a configuration on your Windows server, to enable a second domain name (say; domain2.com) to point to existing content of first domain name (say; domain1.com). Domain2.com name servers (DNS) to be same as that of domain1.com
Domain Forwarding: This term is commonly used by Domain Registrars. Domain Forwarding involves activating an additional service at the Domain Registrar, that enables pointing of second domain name (say; domain2.com) to existing content of first domain name (say; domain1.com). Domain2.com name servers (DNS) to be as specified by Domain Registrar.
First domain name (domain1.com), may or maynot be registered or correctly configured. Second domain name (domain2.com) can be configured to point to temporary url of first domain name.
